I would like to thank all parents and carers for their continued support in ensure students are sent in with the correct kit on all occasions. Students are very motivated during the sessions and their outstanding attitude is a reflection of the support that we receive from all parents.
I’m pleased to say that we’ve been having an excellent time at sporting events over the spring term. In the primary school we took part in the Panathlon Challange Games, (along with QE2). Although we were the smallest school competing, we came 4th overall which meant that our athletes came back with many medals and certificates.
In the secondary school, Yellow class represented College Park school and our team came second overall. Secondary students have also been participating in indoor rowing sessions at least once a week, in preparation for competing in two big competitions later in the year.
Our KS3 class represented CP at the Westminster Indoor Rowing competition and we had a selection of 19 students from Y10/11, KS3 and Yellow to represent the school in the World’s biggest competition of its kind:- National Junior Indoor Rowing Competition at Lee Valley Athletic Centre. A special mention must be given to a student in 10/11 and Jasmin Zaman who finished the 2nd fastest in their year group races. There was also an Inclusive Basketball event in which our two teams won 4th and 2nd places.
Well done and a huge thank you to everyone involved.
