Forest School Research

Currently, the pupils from College Park School are taking part in a Forest School research.  The research focuses on identifying the difference between the impact of indoor and outdoor learning environment on pupils with autism in two areas: attention/engagement and emotional regulation.

This research will incorporate both quantitative and qualitative study design in order to provide a better understanding of the level of impact of outdoor learning on education of children with autism.

Participants in this study are seven students from Orange Class, College Park School. All students have diagnosis of ASD. They are non-verbal and aged 7-10. The study will take place in the Paddington Rec Forest School over two blocks of six weeks.
