Domestic Abuse

Healthy School Partnership is a key aspect of preventing Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).  At College Park School we work with our students in PSHE and RSE sessions to help them identify and understand the essence of healthy, loving, caring relationships and friendships.

We focus on the positive aspects which in turn helps our children and young people in being able to recognise unhealthy, negative behaviours in relationships. It is important to inform our young people that the perpetrators of abuse can be male/he or female/she

We all have a duty to keep our children and young people safe. They need to be protected against manipulation and exploitation in the community and unfortunately, sometimes at home, so it is vitally important that they learn the skills to be able to identify characteristics of unhealthy relationships and that they know who they can go to for help.

If you feel that you may need some support around domestic abuse please look at the options available to you below. You can also contact us at College Park School, we are always happy to help.
