Full CalendarThe Training Calendar

This event will take place between 1:30pm and 4:30pm on 22/02/2022 and every 1 day thereafter until 23/02/2022.

This is a Protective Behaviours Foundation online, certified course of 4 sessions with a fee of £150 per person including a booklet and access to the PB website.

PBs is a trauma informed approach to supporting resilience and well-being. The Protective Behaviours framework supports adults to reflect on their own practice, and teaches children and young people the concept of safety and the skills of risk taking as opposed to risky behaviours. Implementation of PBs meets the Ofsted requirement for teaching children and young people safeguarding skills, supports the new Statutory Regulations on Health, Relationships and Sex Education including the new emphasis on understanding of Harmful Sexual Behaviours. The session dates are 22nd and 23rd of February and the 1st and 2nd of March from 1:30 to 4:30.

Participants will:

Know what Protective Behaviours is and how to implement it in your settings

Learn about the key elements in depth through experiential activities, videos, quizzes, and through discussion and interaction with other participants

Learn about how we can create safe environments for adults and children

Understand how you can use and implement this framework to support safeguarding, well-being, resilience and problem-solving

Feel confident to implement the framework in your setting

Have access to the Protective Behaviours UK website and resources.
