This course will explore the everyday challenges of a deaf learner in a mainstream environment. It is designed to take the attendee on an interactive and practical journey to understand what deafness is and how it can impact on a deaf child or young person's learning. The course will teach you about the term "deaf" and talk you through how you can help your deaf learner access the educational environment in the most appropriate way.
