OK, so your child is now going to school and they see the OT there … but what about at home? Do you still struggle to understand how best to teach new skills, dressing, cutlery, homework. There is still a need for support at home to generalise skills taught at school and vice versa. However, sometimes the ‘old’ methods are no longer working and you need fresh ideas, a new way of dealing with the daily frustrations and challenges.
