We are looking to recruit a high quality, committed lead teacher to lead and develop a brand-new satellite provision for College Park School.

This person will play a key role, supported by the Headteacher and Assistant head for Primary , in opening and maximising the success of our new satellite provision for up to sixteen Early Years and Key stage one aged children with Autism, set out in College Park’s admission criteria. The provision is due to open in September 2022 for a small number of children (up to eight) and it will expand in size from there. The provision will be situated in a newly redesigned section in the heart of a local school.
The role will initially be supporting teaching at College Park and working with the Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher to prepare for the opening of the provision in September 2022
The successful candidate will be a talented, passionate and suitably experienced practitioner. They will have a clear understanding and experience of effective and personalised teaching and learning as well as experience of raising and sustaining achievement within a specialist Autism provision. They must be a strong communicator and team player and able to engage effectively with the children, staff and parents/ carers on a daily basis. They will also need to be enthusiastic, positive, highly motivated, and have commitment to ensure every child reaches their full potential as well as the drive to support all children to become the best they can be.
